  • Opening in the Fall of 2006, Family Foundations Academy (FFA) is a free public charter school serving Kindergarten thru Eighth grade.
  • Students from all districts and counties in Delaware are eligible to attend FFA. All applicants must complete an initial enrollment application or submit an online application, complete an enrollment packet and take an enrollment placement test. The test is for educational purposes only.
  • The school’s holistic approach includes, supports and educates the families of each of the students.
  • The FFA mission is “To acknowledge the learning differences of each individual child and nurture the uniqueness of each family structure.” The school was established to nurture each student, acknowledging that there are learning differences among children. Just as each child is unique, so is each family structure. Through a holistic approach to the child and the family, provided in a small school environment that is intimate and supportive, FFA can help each child achieve his or her maximum potential.
